Assessment and Certification

The Assessment & Certification Department at the NTA is responsible for the national assessment and certification, which implies the following:

• planning, overseeing and monitoring the internal & external assessment processes;
• issuing of result notices and certificates based on credits accumulation at different qualification levels;
• training assessors, moderators, and facilitators;
• registration of National Assessment Centers and assessors;
• forwarding National Records of Learning to the NQA in order to be placed on the National Qualifications Framework.

TRAINING FOR ASSESSORS AND MODERATORS

The NTA, through the NACU has provided training for assessors and moderators. The NTA now has an established pool of assessors and moderators who are responsible for implementing the national assessment arrangements in their specific occupations.
