Private Sector

The Private Sector has strong representation on the NTA Board and the following standing committees:

• Standards, Assessment and Certification Council that is responsible for advising the NTA Board on industry training needs, standards, assessment and certification;
• Industry Skills Committees that provide the NTA Board with strategic information on the training needs of specific industry sectors.

Private Sector involvement in the national assessment and certification processes includes representation on assessment panels, acting as assessors, moderators and the registration of National Assessment Centres.
