The Board of Directors of the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) has announced the
departure of the acting CEO, Mr. Muvatera Ndjoze-Siririka, who was on secondment from
the Ministry of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation.
Mr. Ndjoze-Siririka has since returned to the Ministry with effect from 05 April 2023, where
he is employed as Director: Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
In the interim, the Board appointed Ms. Virginia Kaimu, General Manager: National Training
Fund as Acting CEO, with effect from Wednesday, 05 April 2023, until such time that a
substantive appointment is made.
The Board underlined its commitment to a swift and transparent recruitment process to
identify and appoint a substantive CEO for the NTA. The recruitment process has started in
earnest and the Board expects an appointment to be made in the next few months.
On behalf of the management and staff of NTA, the Board extended its sincere appreciation
to the Ministry and to Mr. Ndjoze-Siririka for his diligent and exemplary service during his
tenure.
The Board expressed full confidence in Ms. Kaimu’s expertise and aptitude to take full charge
of the NTA’s day-to-day operations, and has called on the staff and stakeholders to render
her their full support and cooperation.
