Ms. Claretta Gamses is now the Namibia Training Authority’s Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Gamses joined the NTA in January 2024 as General Manager: Finance and Administration. A chartered accountant and registered auditor with over 21 years of senior management experience, she holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance).
In her new strategic assignment, she is to take charge of the NTA’s overall finance portfolio, including the management and administration of the National Training Fund (NTF).
Extending his best wishes to Ms. Gamses as she takes on this new assignment, CEO, Mr. Erick Fundula Nenghwanya explained that the position of Chief Financial Officer was created in line with the NTA’s evolving business and financial needs. “This role is essential for an institution of this magnitude, responsible for managing significant funds and funding sources’, he explained.
Ms. Gamses is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) Council, as well as the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).
