The Namibia Training Authority, through the 35% Key Priority Grant (KPG) allocation of the VET Levy, invests in prioritised training programmes at registered training providers. Training providers who meet requirements are eligible to apply for funding. Investments are made under two broad categories, namely:
Two broad categories of training providers that offer training from Level 1 to 5 are eligible for funding from the VET Levy KPG, as follows:
Existing Training Providers (those already funded by the NTA).

New Training Providers (those not funded by the NTA).

Only occupations and levels listed in the Skills Development Plan for the VET sector (2016-2020) will be considered for funding
Requests for funding from eligible training providers are to be submitted to the NTA in August for intakes commencing training in January/ February the following year, and March for intakes commencing training in June/ July.
The overall procedure for submission of applications is as follows:
