Griffort Beukes and Henry Bruwer have been appointed to the Namibia Training Authority’s Board of Directors, effective 4 February 2021.

Beukes will serve on the Human Resources Committee, which provides human resources support to the Board and the National Training Fund Council (NTFC), whereas Bruwer will serve as a member.

The appointments bring the total board membership to (9) nine.

Beukes currently serves as General Manager: Human Resources at Agra Ltd. He has also served on the NTA’s Wholesale and Retail Trade Industry Skills Committee, up until 2018.

Experienced labour consultant, Bruwer is currently the president of the Namibian Employers Association (NEA), as well as a member of the 14th Labour Advisory Council.

They replace Eva-Liza Nailenge and Cornelis Beuke.

“We are excited to welcome the new members. They bring a wealth of experience in key areas such as strategy implementation and corporate governance. We have full confidence that they will add significantly value to our work,” said Board Chairperson, Amon Ngavetene.

“At the same time, we express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Eva-Liza Nailenge and Cornelis Beuke for their steadfast and dedicated service to our organisation”, Ngavetene added.
